This page shows (some) of my downhill/street luge videos I shot or which feature me. So far I’ve been doing a lot of ‘freerides’ (organized events on closed roads) and a lot of ‘wild rides’ (open roads with possible regular traffic).
I captured my 2012 summer in three videos which show a road trip I did all across Europe with my fellow luger Nando Jurgens.
For 2013 my plans are to participate in official IDF events and a lot of free/wild rides. And yes, I’m still looking for an interesting sponsor.
My plans (so far) for 2013 are:
- Koffe/Schnapps 1/3 (F)
- Wallonhill Festival (B)
- Wallonhill LUX (LUX)
- Kozakov Challenge (CZ)
- Grim Mountain (CZ)
- Peyragudes Never Dies (F)
- Wallonhill End of Season (B)
This is part 3 of the European road trip I did in August/September 2012, together with Nando. In this video you see us riding on Koffe/Schnapps, an organized freeride in France and on an open road; La Planches des Belles Filles, a high speed track, which has been redone in 2012 because of a Tour de France finish.

This is part 2 of the European road trip I did in August 2012, together with Nando. In this video you see us riding on 3 open roads in Switzerland. 2 of these 3 shall remain unnamed, the last one (with the tunnel) is the famous Grimsel Pass where I got up to 112 km/h. This tunnel is 825 m. long and has an 11% descent. Best downhill ride ever !

I downhilled about halfway down the Grimsel Pass in Switzerland. This is the raw footage. Distance travelled almost 11 km. Max speed was reached in the tunnel in the down section, which was 112 km/h.
Video is shot on August 28, very early in the morning.
The really fast part begins at 12:10.
