Roller Derby Amsterdam
I like sports as much as the next guy, except I like a bit more non-traditional sports. Mostly these sports are a bit more adrenaline packed.
Now there’s one sport which I can only watch since it’s a a girls only sport and no it’s not synchronised swimming. It’s Roller Derby, a sport where girls skate (on rollerskates, not blades) on an oval track.
Holiday in Jamaica
I had to get away from everything. I hadn’t been on a real vacation in years (which involved sun and relaxing), I only went snowboarding which is a non-stop work-out.
So I decided to visit Jamaica, home of the Ganja and Bob Marley.
Snowplanet (13.03.11)
It was 2 years since my accident and since then I never went snowboarding again. Today was the first day and I was very curious to see how it would go.
It went super… I hardly felt my knee and after going down a couple of time without a hitch, it was time to try jumping again…
World Pillow Fight
It was ‘World Pillow Fight Day’ and it was quite a spectacle on the Dam. I was too late for the start but I was able to make some fun pics and vids.
Better in rubber
This is definetly one of the best gifts I got in ages. A shirt with my company name on it, wrapped in a pun.
And it’s not even custom made, it came ‘off the rack’.
Floriade Downhill
Today it was boarding all the way, first downhill (long)boarding at the Floriade and afterwards indoor snowboarding at Snowplanet.
we arrived at the pyramid when it was almost dark and with those mega stairs we had time for max 5 runs. The first went well, so for the 2nd we went higher and I took my camera (see video).
Bleistifft fotoshoot
After the Bleistifft gig at Club 020 (or whatever the name was at that time), I went on an exploring trip throughout the building (which was being renovated).
Below the club I found an entire basement, filled with construction equipment and even a forklift. I immediately gathered the 4 imitation Germans and we did a small photoshoot.
